Hot Honey Baked Brie

Hot honey is so hot right now. Sweet, savoury and easy to prepare, this Hot Honey Baked Brie will quickly become a crowd-favourite.

 Ingredients:

• 1 wheel of brie 
• 1.5 tbsp honey
• 1 pinch chilli flakes 
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp pepper 
• 2 tbsp salted butter (softened at room temperature)
• 1 tsp chopped parsley 
• 1 garlic clove (finely chopped)
• 1 tsp mixed herbs 
• Crackers of your choice (optional)

 Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper 
2. Place the brie in the middle and cut in a criss-cross pattern (ensuring not the cut the sides so the brie doesn’t ooze out while cooking)
3. Top the brie with honey, chilli flakes, salt & pepper
4. Cut the baguette into slices 
5. Combine the softened butter with the parsley, chopped garlic and herbs
6. Place the bread on the tray around the brie and top each slice with the herby butter
7. Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the bread is crusty
8. Dip the bread (or crackers) into the brie and enjoy!
